Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage patients based on their condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the coordination of patient transfers and discharges as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN considered with significant relevant experience.
• A minimum of two years of emergency nursing experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Benefits

regular pay for the first 8 hours and overtime for the remaining 4 hours of a 12-hour shift! No other benefits are offered for contract and per diem shifts.
