THE OPPORTUNITY

The Credit Risk Analytics is responsible for credit risk analysis and reporting on loans and leases. This position supports the quarterly Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) accounting estimation process and reports to the SVP Director, Credit Risk Analytics or SVP, Credit Risk Analytics Manager. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Assist with preparing and reviewing the quarterly ACL computations, supporting analyses, and results.
  • Communicate with Credit Administration to identify and assess emerging credit risks
  • Assist with coordinating and preparing materials for the quarterly Audit and Enterprise Risk Committee of the Board, Disclosure Committee, ACL Management Committee, ACL Working Group and other ad-hoc meetings
  • Perform operating controls for the ACL estimation including data reviews and reconciliations
  • Assist with prepare sensitivity analysis on key management assumptions for use in the ACL estimation process.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
  • Analyze loan portfolio data for purposes of the ACL estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and/or capital stress testing, research and communicate any data issues
  • Perform routine and ad-hoc credit risk analyses for internal and external reporting for management, auditors, regulators, the Board of Directors, and investors as requested
  • Prepare financial review of third-party relationship
  • Respond to requests and questions from internal management, internal and external auditors, and regulators regarding the ACL estimation process

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years of credit risk analysis, commercial loan underwriting, financial auditing, and/or accounting experience is required
  • Experienced in the preparation of data analyses and reporting is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred
  • Understanding of credit risk management discipline and principles
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all members of the organization
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Proficient Excel skills
  • Understanding of database concepts and data structures

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
