Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM) Location Greenville, SC :

Ideal Assistant Business Office Manager candidates will have the following:

  • High school diploma
  • A general understanding of skilled nursing billing and payment is helpful
  • Some knowledge of SC Medicaid applications and regulations
  • Experience in a long-term care facility
  • Collections experience

Your day to day:

  • Assist in obtaining managed care and Medi-Cal or Medicaid authorizations including bed holds.
  • Assist with managing resident trust fund, including printing and distributing monthly statements.
  • Assist with maintaining census and report status changes.
  • Assist with Medi-Cal or Medicaid applications.
  • Undertake collection activity for bad debts.

On the job training can and will be provided. Collections experience will be a great attribute in this role. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and eager to learn.
